Eula L. Ryan, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, where she was a resident. Mrs. Ryan was employed as an assembler at Ohio Art Company in Bryan, retiring in 1987 with twenty-seven years of service. She attended Restoration Fellowship Church near Bryan, Ohio. Eula L. Ryan was born on November 15, 1922, in Van Buren, Missouri, the daughter of George William and Bertha May (Hill) Lawson. She married Ervin F. Ryan on March 1, 1946, in Norwood, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1996. Mrs. Ryan is survived by two daughters, Connie J. Olmstead, of Bryan, Ohio, and Sharon S. (Bill) Guthrie, of, Stryker, Ohio, one son, William H. (Patsy) Ryan, of Monroe, Michigan, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Van) Hanna and Fay (Pete) Loomis, both of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and one brother, Junior (Carol) Ussery, also of Mountain Grove, Missouri. In addition to her husband, Ervin, Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Ben Ussery, and three brothers, Earl Lawson, Kenny Ussery and Wilbur Ussery. Services for Eula L. Ryan will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Ben Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4. Memorials in the name of Eula L. Ryan may be given to the Williams County Humane Society or to the Lighthouse Program at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan.
