Goldie I. Fee, age 89, of Orland, Indiana (Wall Lake), and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:36 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008, at Northern Lakes Healthcare Center in Angola, Indiana, where she was a resident, after an extended illness. Mrs. Fee was a 1937 graduate of Edgerton High School and a homemaker. Goldie I. Fee was born on December 2, 1918, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Clifton C. and Maude Mae (Goeltzenleuchter) Deal. She married Herman C. Fee on December 25, 1938, in Butler, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2007, after nearly 69 years of marriage. Mrs. Fee is survived by two daughters, Janet (Charles) Reamsnyder, of West Unity, Ohio, and Irene (Larry) Teats, of Montpelier, Ohio, one son, Herman (Marilyn) Fee, Jr., of Montpelier, Ohio, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one niece, Maxine Hodson, of West Unity. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Rutledge. Grave side services and interment for Goldie I. Fee will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor John Pool officiating. Visitation will be private. Memorials in the name of Goldie I. Fee may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
