View Video Tribute Harley E. Robinson, 70 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Monday, April 2, 2007, at his mother’s residence in Bryan, where he had been staying the past month. An Army veteran, Harley was an auto mechanic, beginning his career at the family gas stations, including the Sohio gas station in Edgerton and the Sinclair and Pure Oil Company/Union 76 gas stations in Bryan. He was a former manager of the automotive department at K-Mart for a period of time. He worked at John’s Towing and several area auto dealerships. He also worked at Bard Manufacturing for several years. His last employment was for the Laub NAPA store in Bryan. A member of The First Church of Christ in Bryan, Harley played on the church softball and volleyball teams. He was a 50-year member of the Bryan City Band and a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233. He bowled on several bowling leagues over the years. Harley E. Robinson was born on November 13, 1936, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Howard E. and Kathryn L. (Davis) Robinson. Surviving are his son, John D. Robinson, of Bryan, his mother, Kathryn L. Robinson, of Bryan, one brother, Keith L. Robinson, of Defiance, and one sister, Deann K. (Kim) Lucas-Beson, of Flagstaff, Arizona, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard E. Robinson. Funeral services for Harley E. Robinson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation for Harley E. Robinson will be held on Friday, April 6, 2007, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Harley E. Robinson may be given to the First Church of Christ, 129 North Walnut Street, Bryan, or to the Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties, or to the Bryan City Band.
