Marlene J. Mansfield, age 74, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Monday, June 23, 2008, at her residence in Bryan, Ohio, after an extended illness. Marlene Mansfield was a resident of Fulton County and Bryan during her lifetime and was a homemaker. There was nothing that brought more joy in her life than being with her children and her children’s families. Marlene J. Mansfield was born on May 28, 1934, in Fulton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ivan and Vivian (Bachman) Sower. She married Edward Mansfield on March 15, 1951, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2004. Marlene Mansfield is survived by five sons, Robert (Kathy) Mansfield, of Wauseon, Ohio, William (Connie) Mansfield, of Toledo, Ohio, Richard (Angela) Mansfield, of Northwood, Ohio, Michael (Helen) Mansfield, of Napoleon, Ohio, and James Mansfield, of Bryan, Ohio, two daughters, Mary Mansfield, of Bryan, Ohio, and Alice (Steve) Mohre, of Blakeslee, Ohio, sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Anita (Lee) Baumberger, one half-sister, Charlene (Melvin) Pepple. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant half-brother and stepmothers, Ruth and Mabel. Visitation will be in the Grace Community Church, 206 West Bement Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, in the Grace Community Church, 206 West Bement Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dee Custer officiating.
