Alice Ann Hardman, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:25 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008, in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Hardman was a homemaker and a member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, where she was a long-time Sunday school teacher and youth group advisor. She also was a former 4-H advisor. Alice Ann Hardman was born on August 21, 1938, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Robert J. and Clara Etta (Seslar) Kyser. She married John W. “Bill” Hardman on July 6, 1958, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hardman is survived by two daughters, Mary A. (Rocky) Brodbeck, of Ney, Ohio, and Carol Thiel, of Edgerton, Ohio, two sons, John R. (Angela) Hardman, of Hempstead, Texas, and Mark A. (Tammy) Hardman, of Bryan, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her father, Robert J. (Betty) Kyser, of Bryan, Ohio, three brothers, Robert J. (Frieda) Kyser, of Cape Coral, Florida, Lee (Peggy) Kyser, of Roswell, New Mexico, and Paul (Barb) Kyser, of Bryan, Ohio, and one sister, Karen Tyner, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Etta Kyser. Services for Alice Ann Hardman will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, Bryan, Ohio, with Dr. Byron Hawbecker officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, and one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 3. Memorials in the name of Alice Ann Hardman may be given to Lick Creek Church of the Brethren or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care.
