Doris C. Kill, age 61, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and formerly a longtime resident of Blakeslee, Ohio, died at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, in her home after an illness of several months. Doris C. Kill was born August 26, 1943, in Champagne County, Ohio, the daughter of Norman H. and Emily N. (Shaffer) Overs. She married Leroy A. Kill on January 27, 1962, in Wapakoneta, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tina (Bill) Barnthouse of Angola, Indiana, Laura (Donald) Leaders, of Hillsdale, Michigan, two sons, Mark (Petra) Kill of Sewell, New Jersey, and David Kill of Edgerton, Ohio, and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Emily N. Overs, of Kenton, Ohio, eight brothers and sisters, Katherine (Ned) Davis of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Jeannie Culp, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Roger (Jodi) Overs, Bob (Rose) Overs, Bill (Linda) Overs and Joe (Glenda) Overs of Roundhead, Ohio, Paul (Karla) Overs of Russells Point, Ohio, and Dorothy (Hobart) Harrison of Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Wilkins, and her father. Funeral services for Doris C. Kill will be Saturday, January 29, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Edon Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Kill will be Friday, January 28, 2005, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Doris C. Kill may be given to the American Cancer Society.
