Katherine C. Armstrong

Katherine C. Armstrong, age 83, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice after a brief illness. Mrs. Armstrong was a graduate of Defiance High School, a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan, Ohio. Katherine C. Armstrong was on born September 17, 1925, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Christine (Killion) Marchal. She married Harold Armstrong on February 12, 1947, in Defiance, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Armstrong is survived by a son, Andy (Jody) Armstrong, of Bryan, Ohio, two daughters, Marsha Parker, of Bryan, Ohio, and Terry ((Dave) Arrants, of Hamilton, Indiana, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Leroy Marchal. Services for Katherine C. Armstrong will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18. Memorials in the name of Katherine C. Armstrong may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church or to Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
