Robert Harold Gray, age 82, of Edgerton, Ohio, died on Thursday, February 14, 2008, in his residence after a long illness. Mr. Gray was employed for 25 years at General Motors in Defiance, Ohio. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Gray was a member of Bryan V.F.W. Post #2489. Robert Harold Gray was born on March 9, 1925, in Dundee, Michigan, the son of Myrland S. and Elsie E. (Martin) Gray. Mr. Gray is survived by one son, Ian Gray, of Montpelier, Ohio, and two daughters, Margaret (Mark) Buehrer, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Lindsey Davis, of Bryan, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Marilyn (Virgil) Fry and Edythe Welling, both of Bryan, and one brother, Milo (Gertrude) Gray, also of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, two sons, Dieter and Fred Gray, one sister, Lucille Gray and one brother, Mike Gray. Services for Robert Harold Gray will be on Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Byron Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 15. Memorials in the name of Robert Harold Gray may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
