Tammy Sue (Appel) Johnson, of Circleville, Ohio, died on Friday, January 9, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic, where she was a patient. She was a 1983 graduate of Edgerton High School and graduated from Circleville Bible College in 1993. She was employed by Logan Elm Nursing Center and was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Ohio, where she taught Sunday school. Tammy Sue (Appel) Johnson was born on September 13, 1965, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Chelmer M. and June I.(Rosendaul) Appel. She married Christopher S. Johnson on June 27, 1993, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are her parents, Chelmer and June Appel, of Edgerton, Ohio, two brothers, Tim (Maryann) Appel, of Blairstown, New Jersey, and Tom (Deanna) Appel, of Stryker, Ohio, three nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Fay Appel and Calvin and Helen Rosendaul. Services for Tammy Sue (Appel) Johnson will be on Friday, January 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, near Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Lanny Zup and Pastor John Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 15. Memorials in the name of Tammy Sue (Appel) Johnson may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
