View Video Tribute Truman McBride, 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died late Sunday evening at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, Bryan, where he had been a resident the past five days. Mr. McBride was a Marine Corps Veteran, serving in WWII. He was a laborer for the former Pet Milk Company for 34 years and also for Ohio Art for five years. Truman McBride was born on November 22, 1924, in Deland, Illinois, the son of Bert and Cynthia (Farnsworth) McBride. He married Margaret I. Corthier on June 24, 1950, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. McBride is survived by two daughters, Cindy L. McBride, of Bryan, Ohio, and Karen McBride, of Crossville, Tennessee, one son, Terry (Amy) McBride, of Bryan; six grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph McBride, of Bryan, and Edward (Delores) McBride, of Walton, Indiana; one sister, Margurite (Bill) McNany, of Warren, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers. Grave side committal services for Truman McBride will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2005, in Fountain Grove Cemetery with Pastor David Miller officiating. Visitation for Mr. Truman will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Truman McBride may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Center Hospice Care or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
