James A. Lemons, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, his 73rd birthday, at the University of Toledo Medical College, where he was a patient after an extended illness. Mr. Lemons was a 1953 graduate of Bryan High School and attended Michigan State University. He was employed by Equifax as a Field Representative, retiring with twenty-eight years of service. He had also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. James A. Lemons was born on September 2, 1935, in Fulton County, Ohio, the son of Forest and Florence (Butler) Lemons. He married Donna Joan Greek on June 7, 1963, in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lemons is survived by one son, Greg (Angela) Lemons, of Bryan, Ohio, four stepchildren, Cathy Bockover, of Titusville, Florida, Brad (Nancy) Greek, of Quincey, Ohio, Jeff (Aimee) Greek, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Judy (Bob) Hartman, of Wauseon, Ohio, two grandchildren, Kayla and Conner Lemons, eight stepgrandchildren and thirteen stepgreat-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty (Harold) Clark, of Grover Hill, Ohio, and Nancy (Ronald) Brown, of Butler, Indiana, and one brother, Jerry (Vilinda) Lemons, of Bryan, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lemons, and two sisters, Viola Parsell and Elnore Morey. Visitation for James A. Lemons will be on Thursday, September 4, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home at 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Private grave side service will be held in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Harold Clark officiating. Memorials in the name of James A. Lemons may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Home Health or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
