(Cindy) Stryker, age 47, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, Ohio, after an extended illness. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgerton, Ohio. She was also a 1976 graduate of North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Cynthia A. Stryker was born May 18, 1957, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of James and Pauline (Brenning) Perkins. She married Jeffrey Stryker on June 7, 1997, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Steve Heath II, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, two daughters, Heather Derrow, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Megan Derrow, Edgerton, Ohio, two granddaughters, Chaeli Heath and Cynthia Garcia, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, four brothers, Bobby Joe Perkins, New Haven, Indiana, Eugene, David and James. Jr. Perkins, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana, six sisters, Mary Brown, New Haven, Indiana, Paula Wertenberger, Pierceton, Indiana, Jennie Leslie, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rose Dubs, Churubusco, Indiana, Laura Van Holten, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bonnie Pollitt, Albion, Indiana. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Pauline (Perkins) and Cliff Snyder, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, James Perkins, Sr. Services for Cynthia A. (Cindy) Stryker will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgerton, Ohio, with Father Thomas Oedy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 28, with recitation of the rosary at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Memorials in the name of Cynthia A. Stryker may be given to Cancer Assistance of Williams County or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care.
