Ethel M. (Kline) James, age 92, of Edon, Ohio, died at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005, at Dream Haven Assisted Living in Edgerton, where she was a resident. She was a homemaker and was a member of Butler Eagles, Aerie #2733 and the Butler American Legion Auxiliary. Ethel M. (Kline) James was born September 25, 1912, in Garrett, Indiana, the daughter of Albert and Rosa Della (Main) Cutshall. She married Ralph E. Kline on November 18, 1929, in Albion, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in October 1967. She then married Robert James, who preceded her in 1976. Mrs. (Kline) James is survived by two sons, Lamar (Vicki) Kline and Jack Kline, both of Edon, Ohio, one daughter, Linda (and special friend, Larry Seslar) Snow, of Bryan, Ohio, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Kline, one grandson, Larry Kline, one granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Kline, three sisters, Leona Cohen, Bertha Hunkler and Stella Wiseman, and her long-time companion, Arthur Jettinghoff. Services for Ethel M. (Kline) James will be Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Edon Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21. Memorials may be given to the Edon United Methodist Church or Dream Haven Assisted Living in Edgerton.
