Grace Mason

Grace Mason, age 90, of Edon, Ohio, died at 5:07 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Mason operated a dry cleaning business in Toledo with her husband prior to moving to the Edon area, where they began farming. She retired from Beam-Stream after over ten years of service and was a member of the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley, Indiana. Grace Mason was born on November 17, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of William and Pearl Englehart. She married Robert Mason on July 3, 1937, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1994. Mrs. Mason is survived by a son, Marvin (Barbara) Mason, of Edon, Ohio, a granddaughter, Selinda (Brian) O’Dell, of Coldwater, Michigan, two grandsons, Michael and Timothy O’Dell, and two sisters, Evelyn (Hal) Robertson, of Opp, Alabama, and Harriet Winkleman, in Michigan. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, William, George and Frank, two sisters, Carol and Dorothy, and a grandson, Jesse Lee, in 1970. Visitation for Grace Mason will from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio. Services will be on Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. in the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley, Indiana, with Pastor Sam Weimer officiating. Interment will follow in the Edon Cemetery, Edon, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Grace Mason may be given to the Edon Emergency Medical Service.
