Kenneth Stevens, 84 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died Monday, December 26, 2005, in the emergency room of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. An Army veteran of World War II, he was employed as a cement finisher his entire working career. He was a member of the American Legion. Kenneth Stevens was born on December 13, 1921, in Princess, Kentucky, the son of William and May (Brown) Stevens. He married Sally Mae Clark and she preceded him in death. Surviving are his two daughters, Kathy (David) Tracy, of Sylvania, Ohio, and Tammy (Scott) Shubert, of Greensboro, North Carolina; three sons, Bob (Debbie) Stevens, of Sylvania, Ohio, Dave (Debbie) Stevens, of Toledo, Ohio, and Russ (Joan) Stevens, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Rita (Ron) Miller, of Bryan, Ohio, Diana (Steve) Wolwhend, of Illinois, Rhonda Wilson, of Bryan, Kathy (Ray) Moyers, of Queen Creek, Arizona, Bonnie (Darrell) Black, of Colorado, Connie (Tom) Martin, of Lethonia, Georgia, and Sally (Terry) Self, of Chino Valley, Arizona; stepsons, Charles V. (Charlene) Malherbe, Jr., of Peyson, Arizona, and Louis (Donna) Malherbe, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; granddaughter, Tracy (Doug) Williamson, of Montpelier, Ohio, along with 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Marg (Charlie) Myers, of Grass Lake, Michigan, and Bea (Dwayne) Maxon, of Jackson, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; grandson, Brian Stevens; two great-grandchildren, Ashton Emmenecker and Zoe Kaylynn Tinkel; six brothers, Buck, Jim, William “June”, Ed, Ernie and Donnie Stevens; two sisters, Doris Stevens and Betty Stevens. Funeral services for Kenneth Stevens will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2005, in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, with Minister David Tracy officiating. Grave side committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Cemetery, Grass Lake, Michigan. Visitation for Mr. Stevens will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2005, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Memorials in the name of Kenneth Stevens may be given to the Bryan Senior Center.
