Eunice (Jody) N. Caperton

Eunice (Jody) N. Caperton, age 65, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:34 P.M. on Friday, October 23, 2009, at Saint Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was employed by Bard Manufacturing in Bryan, Ohio, as a machine operator for twenty years. He loved spending time with his family and watching wrestling. Eunice (Jody) N. Caperton was born on November 3, 1943, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of John L. and Tennie V. (Gambler) Caperton. He married Phyllis Miller on February 23, 1965, in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, John (Judy) Caperton and James (Julie) Caperton, both of Bryan, Ohio; six grandchildren, Natasha (Jeremy) Hand, of Edgerton, Ohio, Stephanie Wieland, Misha and John Caperton II, Jessica Sullivan, all of Bryan, and Rebecca Sullivan, of Stryker, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Dakota, Alex, James, and Davin; seven sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters. A grave side service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Memorials in the name of Eunice (Jody) N. Caperton may be given to the Williams County Humane Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
