View Video Tribute Robert W. “Bob” Crow, 79, formerly of Bryan, Ohio, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, in the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, Ohio, where he had resided for the past five years. Bob was the former owner of Crow’s Cars in Bryan, where he opened for business in 1960 and operated until his retirement in 1985. A WWII Air Force veteran, Bob served with the 106th Army Air Force Base Band, playing first trumpet. Bob had his private pilot's license. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, and the Bryan American Legion Post 284. He was a former member of the Bryan Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo. Robert W. “Bob” Crow was born on August 1, 1926, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Ralph G. and Gladys E. (Felton) Crow. He married Anna L. Neidhardt on June 15, 1952, in Hicksville, and she preceded him in death on September 14, 1981. Surviving are his two daughters, Sally (Bill) Mapes of Lake Seneca, and Jane (Jeff) Yahraus of Bryan, Ohio; two granddaughters, Savannah Mapes of Lake Seneca and Anna Yahraus of Bryan; one sister, Carol Hendel of Perrysburg, Ohio, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anna. Funeral services for Robert W. “Bob” Crow will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2006, in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Rob Marrow officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, with military grave side rites by the Bryan American Legion Post 284. Visitation for Mr. Crow will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2006, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Robert W. “Bob” Crow may be given to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association or to an educational fund for his granddaughters, Savannah and Anna.
