View Video Tribute Frances A. “Francie” Lett, age 62, of Lexington, Kentucky, and a former resident of Bryan, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington after a brief illness. Mrs. Lett was a 1964 graduate of Bryan High School and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1968 with a degree in political science. She and her husband, Jeff, spent over twenty years in Seattle, Washington, and four years in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, before moving to Lexington. They traveled extensively, visiting forty-four countries and all of the United States and Canada. Frances A. “Francie” Lett was born on September 19, 1946, in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of Glenn D. and Mary B. (Beatty) Allen. She married Jeffrey D. Lett on April 2, 1969, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Barb (Ed) Lingvai, of Bryan, Ohio, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepmother, Margaret Allen. A memorial service celebrating the life of Frances A. “Francie” Lett will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dwight Bowers officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., in the church. Interment will be in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Frances A. “Francie” Lett may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Krill Funeral Service of Bryan, Ohio, is handling arrangements.
