Donald L. Ingersoll II, age 48, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:43 a.m. on September 25, 2008, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center after an illness of several months. Mr. Ingersoll was recently employed by the Montpelier Auto Auction as an auto detailer. Donald L. Ingersoll II was born on October 29, 1959, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Donald L. and Sandra Jean (Gonter) Ingersoll. He is survived by his children, Cassie and Dustin Shartzer, of Edon, Ohio, and Gabrielle Douglas, of Coldwater, Michigan, three sisters, Vicki (Galen) Cornell, of Edgerton, Ohio, Roberta (Gene) Hoffman, of Bryan, Ohio, and Teresa (Matthew) Ayers, of West Unity, Ohio, and his special friend, Alta Roehrs, of Camden, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service celebrating the life of Donald L. Ingersoll II will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Eastland Baptist Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Reverend Jeffrey A. Woolum officiating. Memorials in the name of Donald L. Ingersoll II may be given to the family.
