Oletha Lampman, age 85, of Columbia, Ohio, died at 4:46 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2009, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio. Mrs. Lampman was a lifelong resident of Columbia in Northwest Township, Ohio, and worked as a toll collector on the Ohio Turnpike for thirteen years. She was baptized in 1961 and was a member of the Columbia Church of Christ. In 2006 she moved to the Bryan Senior Plaza and recently was a resident of Bryan Rehabilitation and Care Center. She enjoyed Bingo and bowling on Nintendo Wii. Oletha Lampman was born on April 3, 1924, in Northwest Township, Ohio, the daughter of James and Ruth (Boyer) Ellis. She married Edwin Reasor on December 13, 1946. From that marriage, a son, Mark David Reasor, was born. Edwin died in 1955 and she then married Chester Lampman in 1988 and they enjoyed transporting the Amish. Chester died in 2000. Mrs. Lampman is survived by two grandsons, Randy (Leah) Reasor, of Bryan, Ohio, and Rick (Brandee) Reasor, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and four great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Breanna, Kendra and Lillie Reasor, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son and daughter-in-law, Mark David and Eunice Reasor, and two sisters, Mildred Smith and Thelma Rose. Services for Oletha Lampman will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Nathan Derico officiating. Interment will follow in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service on Thursday. Memorials in the name of Oletha Lampman may be given to the family.
