Rose Beevers, age 99, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:15 am. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in Evergreen Manor Nursing Center in Montpelier, Ohio, where she was a resident. She was a graduate of Edgerton High School and attended the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren. She had been active in Bryan Gala and was a volunteer at the Bryan Hospital for many years. Rose Beevers was born on January 26, 1910, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of John and Dora (Sanders) Fiig. She is survived by one son, Gerald (Lois) Beevers, Jr., of Edon, Ohio, six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Kenneth Fiig, of Edgerton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Kay Limpf, two grandsons, Shane and Troy Mallicote, three brothers, Rupert, Carl and John Fiig, and two sisters, Arietta Bell and Marguerite Miller. Visitation for Rose Beevers will be on Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Rose Beevers may be given to the Bryan Senior Center.
