Nina Josephine Dangler, age 93, of Bryan, Ohio, went to be with Jesus at 6:31 A.M. on Saturday, September 12, 2009, in Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where she was a patient. Mrs. Dangler worked as a clerk at the Belmont store in Edgerton, Ohio, for ten years and was also employed as a secretary at Airmate, Bryan, from where she retired. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest hobby. Nina Josephine Dangler was born on May 1, 1916, in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Cornelia (Moore) Blue. She married DeLoss J. Dangler on February 13, 1932, in Albion, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1989. Mrs. Dangler is survived by two sons, Larry L. (Donna) Dangler, of Bryan, and Denny J. (Vada) Dangler, of Angola, Indiana; four daughters, Nancy J. Lirot, of Seattle, Washington, Patricia (Doug) Gruber, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Diane Best, of Blakeslee, Ohio, and Shirley (Gary) Lehmann, also of Bryan; thirty grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband were one son, DeLoss C. Dangler, three grandchildren, a sister, Lillian Driver, an infant sister, one daughter-in-law, Lucy Dangler, and one son-in-law, Dean Best. Visitation for Nina Josephine Dangler will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Chuck Schmunk, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Waterloo Cemetery, Waterloo, Indiana. Memorials in the name of Nina Josephine Dangler may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
