Celeste F. Welly Blinzler

Celeste F. Welly Blinzler, age 92, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:08 A.M. on Monday, October 19, 2009, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio, where she was a patient after a brief illness. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio. Celeste F. Welly Blinzler was born on July 25, 1917, in Blakeslee, Ohio, the daughter of William and Lenora (Kelble) Young. She married Edmund Welly on January 30, 1937, in Blakeslee, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in February of 1940. She then married Francis Blinzler on December 30, 1942, in Blakeslee, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Kathryn (Mike) Rickenberg of St. Marys, Georgia, and Laura (Dan) Livengood of Bryan, Ohio, one son, William (Mary Margaret) Welly, of Hicksville, Ohio, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Charlene Flynn, and one sister-in-law, Mary Flynn, both of Bryan, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph Welly, and one brother, Richard Flynn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with recitation of the rosary at 7:45 P.M. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Blakeslee, Ohio, with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Celeste F. Welly Blinzler may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
