William G. Pattison

William G. Pattison, 86 years, of Bryan and formerly of Niles, Ohio, died on Saturday, June 9, 2007, in his residence. An Army veteran of WWII, Mr. Pattison was employed by Damiler-Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg, Ohio, for 27 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Bryan, the Bryan V.F.W. Post 2489, the Bryan American Legion Post 284, the Bryan AMVETS Post 54 and the Northwest Territory Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. William G. Pattison was born on July 15, 1920, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the son of Russell J. and Maude M. (Stuart) Pattison. He married Phyllis M. Smith on June 15, 1946, in Birmingham, Michigan, and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, Phyllis, are his daughter, Pamela S. (David W.) Lash, of Bryan; three granddaughters, Melissa (Jon) Kleinhen, of Bryan, Andrea Lash, of Ashland, Ohio, and Kimberly Lash, of Sherwood; and four great-grandchildren, Sierra Kleinhen, Taylor Birkhimer, Savannah Kleinhen and Diego W. Cremar. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Lash, and a brother, Clyde S. Pattison. Funeral services for William G. Pattison will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Rob Marrow officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan, with military grave side rites conducted by Bryan V.F. W. Post 2489. Visitation for Mr. Pattison will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Memorials in the name of William G. Pattison may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care.
