Ruth K. Harroff

Ruth K. Harroff, 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:05 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, where she was been a resident since March of this year. Mrs. Harroff was employed as a Finish Painter for Bryan Custom Plastics for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Ruth was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Edon, Ohio, where she was active in the Mary-Martha circle. She was also a member of the Edon American Legion Post 662 Ladies Auxiliary. Ruth K. Harroff was born on November 28, 1924, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph B. and Delpha (Eubank) Brigle. She married Dale Harroff on October 21, 1944, in Edon, Ohio, and he survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Marilyn (Robert) Peterson, of Bryan, Ohio; one grandson, Timothy A. Peterson, of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Lyle (Angela) Brigle, of Edon, Ohio; two sisters, Doris Muehlfeld, of Edgerton and Carmie (Robert) Keller, of West Unity, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services for Ruth K. Harroff will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Edon, Ohio, with Rev. Clayton J. Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Harroff will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, and also one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Memorials in the name of Ruth K. Harroff may be given to the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, Toledo, Ohio, or to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Edon, Ohio.
