Sharon K. “Cookie” Fitzcharles , 63, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 10:37 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2006, shortly after admittance to CHWC-Bryan. Mrs. Fitzcharles was a homemaker and an avid doll collector. She had been employed at Lectron in Hamilton, Indiana, the former Universal Tool in Butler, Indiana, Plastec in Edon, Ohio, and had operated Doc’s Place Pizza in Hamilton. Sharon K. Fitzcharles was born on April 5, 1942, in St. Joe, Indiana, the daughter of James and Jessie (Roberts) Harris. She married Vaughn L. Fitzcharles on March 1, 1979, in Coburn Corners, Indiana, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fitzcharles is survived by two sons, Mike (Chrissy) Gettys, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Robert (Kimberly) Gettys, of Spencerville, Indiana; two stepsons, Craig (Terry) Fitzcharles, of Newville, Indiana, and Mark (Pat) Fitzcharles, of Butler, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Tammy (Mark) Hohler, of Edgerton, Ohio; her mother, Jessie Haifley, of Angola, Indiana; one sister, Anne Merritt, of Waterloo, Indiana; and two brothers, Dan Haifley and Jerry Haifley, both of Angola, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Dean “Large” Gettys and Tom DeWayne Gettys, her father, and two brothers, James and Michael Harris. Services for Sharon K. Fitzcharles will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, February 24, prior to the service, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Sharon K. Fitzcharles may be given to the family
