View Video Tribute Robert C. Lockhart, 81 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Hillside Country Living, Bryan, Ohio. A self-employed farmer his working life, Mr. Lockhart was also employed at the ARO Corp. for 15 years. Mr. Lockhart was also the owner of the former Chip & Chisel Rock Shop. He was a member of the First Brethren Church, Bryan, Ohio. Robert C. Lockhart was born on August 31, 1924, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Solon and Olive (Brown) Lockhart. He married Arlene M. Hasford on June 27, 1948 in Montpelier, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Arlene, he is survived by one son, Gene ((Linda) Lockhart of Bryan; one granddaughter, Leslie Lockhart of Longmont, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Hope Ann Lockhart, one grandson, Garret Lockhart, two brothers, Denver and Roger Lockhart and two sisters, Winona McBride and Donna Ridenour. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at First Brethren Church, 13050 County Road C, Bryan, Ohio with Pastors Sam Shultz and Fred Brandon, officiating. Burial will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Lockhart will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 4-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Memorials in the name of Robert C. Lockhart may be given to First Brethren Church.
