Judith Maxine Whitman, age 64, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in Park View Nursing Center, where she was a resident for the last year. She was a graduate of Stryker High School, Stryker, Ohio, and had worked at Pittsfield Products in Hamilton, Indiana, for fifteen years. Judith Maxine Whitman was born on August 26, 1944, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the daughter of John and Thelma (Dull) Koch. She is survived by three sons, Ronald Dean (Jena) Whitman, of Hicksville, Ohio, Gary Whitman, of Nottawa, Michigan, and Michael (Jackie) Whitman, of Edgerton, Ohio, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving are her mother, Thelma (Ronald) Schweitzer, of Nettle Lake, Ohio, three sisters, her twin, Julia (Sheldon) Grieser, of West Unity, Ohio, Connie (Robert) Hoffman, of Lake Seneca, Ohio, and Karen (Ernie) Arnold, of Hamilton, Indiana. Preceding her in death were her father, three brothers, Tom and Bill Koch and Ronald Schweitzer, Jr., and one grandson, Jacob Lyn Whitman. Services for Judith Maxine Whitman will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor D.V. Dillinger officiating. Interment will follow in West Franklin Cemetery, near West Unity, Ohio. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Memorials in the name of Judith Maxine Whitman may be made to Park View Nursing Center Activities Fund.
