Vesta Fields Trent

Vesta Fields Trent, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2009, in Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Trent was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Vesta Fields Trent was born on July 25, 1920, in Vicco, Kentucky, the daughter of Sam and Sarah (Mullins) Fields. She married Elijah Wesley Trent on June 23, 1940, in Williamson, West Virginia, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1976. Mrs. Trent is survived by four sons, Sam W. (Linda) Trent, of Edon, Ohio, Clem D. Trent, in Kentucky, Dellis L. (Shannon) Trent and Clyde W. Trent, both of Everett, Washington, one daughter, Mary S. Cristie, in Virginia, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and three sisters, Effa Caudell, Loretta Neice, and Jeanette Evans. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband, were her parents and one brother, James Fields. Grave side services will be held in Cody Cemetery, Hindman, Kentucky.
