View Video Tribute Wilma J. Marlow, 91, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a resident since March. Mrs. Marlow was a homemaker. She and her husband, Thurman, owned and operated Allis Chalmers Implement in Edgerton, Ohio, until their retirement in 1978. She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Edgerton. Wilma J. Marlow was born on April 8, 1914, in Warrensburg, Illinois, the daughter of William K. and Faith (Taggart) Whitehurst. She married Thurman Marlow on August 21, 1932, in Hicksville, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1983. Mrs. Marlow is survived by one son, Robert (Susan) Marlow, of Huntington, Indiana, and one daughter, Carma (Richard) Polter, of Mark Center, Ohio, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth Whitehurst, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and two sisters, Virginia Gleason, of Defiance, Ohio, and Betty Kennedy, of Coldwater, Michigan. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Jean, one infant granddaughter, and one brother, James Whitehurst. Services for Wilma J. Marlow will be held on Thursday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home , Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastors James O. Wilson and Matt Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville, Ohio. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Wilma J. Marlow may be given to Trinity Bible Church, Park View Nursing Center Activity Fund, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
