View Video Tribute Venessa R. Kemarly, 14, formerly of Edon, Ohio, and who recently moved to Liberty, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky, from injuries sustained in a car-bicycle accident on Saturday near her home. She was an eighth-grade student at Casey County Middle School and had completed K-7th grade in the Edon schools. She was a member of the Northwest Apaches 4-H Club in Williams County and an avid horse enthusiast and was active in speed show competitions. She was also a member of the Columbia Church of Christ. Venessa R. Kemarly was born January 25, 1991, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Damon B. and Holli R. (Rettig) Kemarly, and they survive in Liberty, Kentucky. Also surviving are two brothers, Kamon and Kaden Kemarly, both at home, paternal grandparents, Alice and Deloyd Kemarly, Montpelier, Ohio, maternal grandmother, Rachael Eustace, San Benito, Texas, maternal grandfather, Gene Rettig (and wife, Sue), Stryker, Ohio, paternal great-grandmother, Irma Wonders, Allen, Michigan, maternal great-grandfather, Howard Rettig, Holgate, Ohio, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jim Eustace, paternal great-grandparents, Bernell and Idella Kemarly, maternal great-grandmother, Marvel Rettig, and maternal great-grandfather, Cecil Wonders. Services for Venessa R. Kemarly will be Wednesday, August 31, at 11:00 a.m. in Columbia Church of Christ with Pastor Cliff Graves officiating. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30. Memorials may be given to the Venessa R. Kemarly Trust.
