Ida M. Reif

Ida M. Reif, age 86, of Edgerton, Ohio, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio. Mrs. Reif was a meat processor and had worked at Edgerton Locker for thirty years. She was also a long-time care giver and seamstress. Ida M. Reif was born August 9, 1922, in Venice, Illinois, the daughter of Edward Vincent and Hazel (Andrews) Tighe. She married John A. Reif on March 12, 1948, in Pocohantus, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death in 1974. Surviving are her niece, Lee Ann Abbruzzese of Bryan, Ohio her nephew, Pat (Teresa) Allen, of Edgerton, Ohio, and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. There will be no visitation or services. Memorials in the name of Ida M. Reif may be given to the Edgerton Senior Center.
