Harold Lee Cliffton, age 66, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Cliffton was a machinist and had worked at Edgerton Manufacturing for twenty-one years until the plant closed and then was employed by Nemco-Medical in Hicksville until his retirement. He was a member of the Cruise-in Knights Car Club. Harold Lee Cliffton was born April 30, 1942, in Jefferson Township, near Montpelier, Ohio, the son of John and Ilo (Price) Cliffton. He married Geraldine M. Koch on January 5, 1963, in West Unity, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Dodi (Shawn) Raub, of Bryan, Ohio, Krista (Charles) Feeney, of Montpelier, Ohio, Harold “Bud” (Jodi) Cliffton, of Bryan, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, four brothers, Junior, Jerry, Jim and Walter Cliffton and a sister, Nancy Mocherman. He was preceded in death by his father, John Cliffton and his mother, Ilo Geiger. A Celebration of Life for Harold Lee Cliffton will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Montpelier Eagles, Aerie #4415. Interment will be Floral Grove Cemetery, near West Unity, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Harold Lee Clifton may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the family.
