Inez A. Stansill

Inez A. Stansill, age 91, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, in her home. Mrs. Stansill was an inspector at Champion Plastic/Vistron for twenty years, retiring in 1979. She and her husband were co-owners of the Homestead Grocery in Bryan for ten years. Inez A. Stansill was born on December 6, 1917, in Starke County, Indiana, the daughter of George and Esther (Summers) Brutnell. She married Leroy M. Stansill on July 3, 1943, in Springfield, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1995. Mrs. Stansill is survived by four daughters, Barbara Books, of Mishawaka, Indiana, Shirley J. Daniels, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Betty L. (Gordon) Mowat, of Ney, Ohio, and Imogene Gray, of Bryan, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Amy McDowell, Beth Ann Marker, David Marker, Daniel Smith, Beth Ann Buttermore, Angela Pyle, Michelle Huffman and Christopher Gray, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Douglas Smith, one brother and four sisters. Services for Inez A. Stansill will be on Saturday, December 20, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dee Custar officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, December 19, and one hour prior to services on December 20. Memorials in the name of Inez A. Stansill may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care.
