View Video Tribute Diane (Dee) Marie Swanson, age 57, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:11 p.m. on August 11, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Bryan after a brief illness. Diane was a graduate of Hillsdale College and was vice-president of human resources at Ohio Gas Company, where she was employed for over 20 years. She served on the board of directors of Ross Controls Corporation in Detroit for more than two decades. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bryan, where she had served as treasurer and deacon. Diane was part of the Great Banquet community and served as treasurer of the steering committee. A member of the Williams County Community Theater, she was the producer of “Les Miserables.” She also served on the board of the Williams County YWCA when the organization was in its infancy. Diane (Dee) Marie Swanson was born on September 26, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to Russell and Margaret (Patterson) Cameron. She married David W. Swanson on September 24, 1988, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by three daughters, Karen (Ted) Busch, of Bay Village, Ohio, Andrea (Jason) Barlow, of Hilliard, Ohio, and Birgit Swanson, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, four grandchildren, Teddy and Amelia Busch, and Paige and Evan Barlow, her mother, Margaret Patterson Cameron, of Jacksonville, Florida, and two brothers, Saint Clair (Pam) Cameron, of Berkeley, California, and Keith (Ellen) Cameron, of Palm Coast, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Cameron. Services for Diane (Dee) Marie Swanson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, in the First Presbyterian Church,506 Oxford Drive, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dennis Ladd officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Sowle Cemetery, Maple Rapids, Michigan. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 14, 2008, from 2-8 p.m. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.
