Michael L. Armer, age 58, of Bryan, Ohio, died on October 10, 2008, at his home in Bryan, Ohio. He was an employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad as a maintenance supervisor for 29 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam, and a member of the American Legion. Michael L. Armer was born on April 30, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Wilda (Hoy) Armer, Sr. He married Jenni Fifer on February 14, 1988, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Paul, (Teresa) Venzke, seven daughters, Tamara (Tim) Wooley, Tina (Dennis) Thompson, Amy (Rob) Peel, Patricia Venzke, Tina (Mike) Chanady, Penny (Todd)Trobaugh, and Tabitha (Scott) Symons. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his father, Ronald Armer, Sr., his stepmother, Bertha Armer, six brothers, and four sisters. Services for Michael L. Armer will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at 11:00 a.m at the Alliance Church in Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Gary Kiessling officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on October 12, 2008, and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m on Monday, October 13, 2008, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Michael L. Armer may be given to the Williams County Diabetic Association or Williams County Kidney Foundation.
