Michael A. Kaiser, 52, of Edon, Ohio, died at 5:08 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. Michael was a 1971 graduate of Edon High School and a 1975 graduate of Defiance College. He graduated in 1978 from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He was trained to be a minister with the United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Edon United Methodist Church. Michael A. Kaiser was born on January 2, 1953, in Fostoria, Ohio, the son of Maurice and Sherrie (Dean) Kaiser. Surviving are his parents, Maurice and Sherrie Kaiser of Edon; two brothers, Brian (Natalie) Kaiser, of Fremont, Indiana, and Steven Kaiser, of Angola, Indiana; three sisters, Jennifer (Joseph) Hays, of Montpelier, Brenda (Thomas) Avers, of Archbold, and Annette (Michael) Peckham of Edon; five nieces and three nephews. Funeral services for Michael A. Kaiser will be held at 11:00 a.m. (Ohio time) on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, in the Edon United Methodist Church, Edon, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Kaiser will be held on Monday, October 3, 2005, from 3-8 p.m. (Ohio time) in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Memorials in the name of Michael A. Kaiser may be given to Edon United Methodist Church or Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio.
