Vivian B. Mieth, age 91, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2005, in Harborside Heathcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, Ohio, where she had been a resident for three weeks. Mrs. Mieth was a homemaker and had spent her working career as a bookkeeper for The Edgerton Earth, Caseberes and Days before working for Syncrotec in Edgerton, Ames and Bryan Nursing Care Center. Vivian B. Mieth was born May 8, 1914, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Glen H. and Lulu Marie (Wilder) Woodward. She married August Mieth on September 13, 1957, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in June 1983. Mrs. Mieth is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Maynard) Grimm, of West Unity, Ohio, one grandson, Jamie Grimm, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and one great-grandson, Brenden Grimm, of Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Stephanie Grimm, in 1999, and one brother, Harry Woodward. Graveside services for Vivian B. Mieth will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2005, in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be private. Memorials in the name of Vivian B. Mieth may be given to the Edgerton EMS or to Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
