View Video Tribute Janet D. Baldwin, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Dilworth Center of Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Montpelier. Mrs. Baldwin was a homemaker, avid reader, liked to play golf and take care of her family. In the late 1950's and 1960's she was a bookkeeper and office manager working with her husband at Shipper’s Dispatch in Bryan, Ohio. Janet D. Baldwin was born June 30, 1935, in Defiance, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Vera (Morris) Scheuerman. She married Paul S. Baldwin on August 22, 1954 in Defiance, Ohio and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baldwin is survived by two sons; Matthew P. Baldwin, of Marion, Ohio and Shawn M.. (Barb) Baldwin, of Kent, Washington, one daughter, Dawn (Jim) Steele, of Mesa, Arizona, and six grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Mike Scheuerman, of Fishers, Indiana and her mother, Vera Benz, of Bradenton, Florida. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark A. Baldwin Services for Janet D. Baldwin will be Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Wesley United Methodist Church with Pastor Dwight Bowers officiating. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials in the name of Janet D. Baldwin may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
