View Video Tribute Doris M. Blaisdell, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, where she had been a resident the past fifteen months. Mrs. Blaisdell was a lifetime homemaker. Doris M. Blaisdell was born on September 11, 1920, in Hillsdale County, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer and Florence (Waldvogel) Mack. She married Kay F. Blaisdell on June 20, 1937, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1989. This loving mother and dedicated homemaker lived at the west edge of Bryan for 63 years. Surviving Mrs. Blaisdell are her four daughters, Barbara (Frank) Hosler and Beverly (Bill) Glore, both of Bryan, Patricia Loomis of West Unity and Karen (Ed) Mowrey of Aurora, Colorado; four sons, Robert Blaisdell of Edgerton, George and Kenneth Blaisdell, both of Bryan, and Michael (Ruth) Blaisdell of Willard, Ohio; one son-in-law, Harry Keller of West Unity, and one daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn K. Blaisdell of Bryan, Ohio; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Marilyn Keller, and son, James L. Blaisdell, her twin sister, Dorothy Riegsecker, sister, Eloise Peugeot, two grandchildren, Mark and Brenda Glore, and son-in-law, Paul Loomis. Funeral services for Doris M. Blaisdell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Doug Schrock officiating. Interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Blaisdell will be held on Friday, September 16, 2005, from 2-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Doris M. Blaisdell may be given to Hospice -The Caring Way of Williams and Fulton Counties or a charity of the donor’s choice.
