Donelda R. (Zaerr) Lonabarger-German, age 96, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Bryan, Ohio, where she was a patient after a brief illness. Mrs. Lonabarger-German was a former operator of the Mobil Station and Gamble store in Pioneer, Ohio, and later was a retail clerk in many area stores. Donelda R. (Zaerr) Lonabarger-German was born on August 10, 1912, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Joel M. and Rose (Johnson) Zaerr. She married Wayne Lonabarger and he preceded her in death in 1974. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Galen) Brown, of Bryan, Ohio, and Barbara (John) Carder, of Defiance, Ohio, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Services celebrating the life of Donelda R. (Zaerr) Lonabarger-German will be on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor John Macfarlane officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery near Pittsford, Michigan. Memorials in the name of Donelda R. (Zaerr) Lonabarger-German may be given to the Diabetes Association or to the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
