Mable Mae Poole, age 81, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:42 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Poole was a graduate of Edon High School and was a longtime employee of Robinair Manufacturing in Montpelier, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Circle, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Edgerton. Mable Mae Poole was born on May 11, 1927, in Artic, Indiana, the daughter of Gordon Raymond and Mary Adeline (Clark) Collins. She married Harlan J. Poole on December 23, 1949, in Angola, Indiana, and he survives. Mrs. Poole is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Atchison, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Cynthia (Irving) Reedy, of Shelton, Washington, five grandsons, Chris Atchison, of Kent, Washington, Todd (Lindsey) Atchison, of Kirkland, Washington, Geoffrey (Janeen) Hendricks, of Provo, Utah, Bryan Hendricks, of Edgerton, and Cameron (Nalorie) Hendricks, of Morongo Valley, California, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Alice Holman, of Angola, Indiana, and Mildred Webb, of Fremont, Michigan, and one brother, Donald Collins, of Defiance, Ohio. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Johnston, Lenora Trausch, Ruth Thiel, Irma Stroup, Naomi Field, and one brother, Harold Collins. Services for Mable Mae Poole will be on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Reverend R. L. Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5. Memorials in the name of Mable Mae Poole may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
