Gerilynn Marie Blakely

Gerilynn Marie (Herman) Blakely, age 48, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 4:51 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier, Ohio. Mrs. Blakely was a 1978 graduate of Edgerton High School and was a member of Solid Rock Community Church in West Unity, Ohio. Gerilynn Marie (Herman) Blakely was born on July 31, 1960, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Donald J. and Ruth M. (Adams) Herman. She married William C. “Bill” Blakely on March 21, 1985, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. Also surviving are her three children, John (Jessica) Hurd, of Montpelier, Ohio, Amy (Andy) Franklin and Bill (Haley) Blakely, both of Bryan, Ohio, and four grandchildren. Also surviving are her parents, Donald and Ruth Herman, of Edgerton, Ohio, five brothers and sisters, Cindy Herman, Ken (Colleen) Herman, and Tony (Jennifer) Herman, all of Edgerton, Ohio, Kathy (Doug) Soards and Donna (Bill) Martin, both of Bryan, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gerard Herman. Visitation for Gerilynn Marie (Herman) Blakely will be on Friday, October 31, 2008, from 3-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in the Solid Rock Community Church with Pastor Mike Beasley officiating. Memorials in the name of Gerilynn Marie (Herman) Blakely may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
