Andrew V. "Butch" Forgione, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 6:41 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2008, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Bryan. Mr. Forgione retired as a city worker with the Burrough of Red Bank, New Jersey. He also retired from Liberty Hose Company No. 2 Red Bank Fire Department, of which he served as captain of the fire police. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, and Sons of Amvets Post #54, Bryan. Andrew V. Forgione was born on June 5, 1930, in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Anthony F. and Helen (Usafara) Forgione. He is survived by two brothers, Vincent Forgione, of Clearwater, Florida, and Arcalo "Herkey" (Nancy) Forgione, of Manchester, New Jersey, and two sisters, Martha Scarpello, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, and Gilda (Daniel) Barnard, of Bryan, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in New Jersey, Ohio and Florida. Mr. Forgione was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Wysowaty and Nancy Tenore. Services for Andrew V. Forgione will be on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a scripture service at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10. Memorials in the name of Andrew V. Forgione may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan.
