View Video Tribute Charles U. Kunsman, age 77, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Bryan, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Kunsman was employed as a millright for General Motors in Defiance, Ohio, retiring in 1987 with thirty-four and one-half years of service. He was a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 and also the National Rifle Association. Charles U. Kunsman was born on January 3, 1931, in Edon, Ohio, the son of Glen and Florence (Shephard) Kunsman. He married Phyllis R. Fenstermaker on May 22, 1966, in Edon, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kunsman is survived by two daughters, Sindi Stephens, of Bryan, Ohio, and Cheryl A. Anderson, of Largo, Florida, one son, Sammi Kunsman, of Bryan, Ohio, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Joy Meeks, of Edon, Ohio, and Amy Keller, of Angola, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bill, John and Ned Kunsman, and one daughter, Sherri Kunsman, in 1973. Services for Charles U. Kunsman will be on Monday, March 10, 2008, at 1:30 p.m in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Jeff Woolum officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. Memorials in the name of Charles U. Kunsman may be given to the National Stroke Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
