Paul V. Welly, age 85, died Saturday, February 5, 2005, in Prescott, Arizona, where he resided since 1963. Mr. Welly worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He was a World War II Air Force veteran, serving from October 10, 1942, to October 9, 1945. Paul V. Welly was born February 8, 1919, in Edgerton, Ohio, the son of Charles J. and Louise (Goebel) Welly. He married his first wife, Janet Louise Meyer, and she preceded him in death on April 24, 1985. He then married his second wife, Peggy, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Welly is survived by two sons, Charles (Chuck) Welly, of Cottonwood, Arizona, and Mike Welly, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Rubert Welly, of Long Beach, California. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded by one infant son, Mark Allen Welly, seven brothers and one sister. Grave side services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton with grave side military honors conducted by John D. Smith Post #10 of the American Legion. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, February 11. Memorials in the name of Paul V.
