View Video Tribute Dolores H. Cape, age 86, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton where she was a resident after a brief illness. Mrs. Cape was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. Dolores H. Cape was born November 26, 1918 in Florence Township of Williams County, Ohio the daughter of Henry and Martha (Lirot) Studer. She married Paul C. Cape on June 22, 1944 in Blakeslee, Ohio and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Gloria Ann Cape-Sunderman, of Defiance, Ohio, one son, Gary Paul (Pamela S.) Cape, of Cincinnati, Ohio, one granddaughter, Holly D. Haines, of Phoenix, Arizona and one great-granddaughter, Gemma M. Haines also of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lillian Burns, Dorothy Studer and Rozeal Rex and two brothers, Mersealle and Vandrille Studer. Services for Dolores H. Cape will be Monday, July 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Edgerton. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio from 6-8 p.m on Sunday, July 10. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Memorials in the name of Dolores H. Cape may be given to a St. Mary’s School or Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
