View Video Tribute Larry G. (The Breeze) Hartman, age 59, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 6:16 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2005, shortly after admittance to Wayne Hospital in Greenville, Ohio, of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Hartman was a heavy equipment operator with Perry Excavating in Edgerton and the former owner and operator of Hartman Tool and Supply in Edgerton from 1984-2004. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the Marine Corps. He was a lifetime member of the Waterloo Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6572. Larry Gene Hartman was born on November 27, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of Loren D., Sr. and Georgia L. (Musser) Hartman. He married Martha B. Ayres on March 3, 1966, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Georgia L. Hartman, of Edgerton, Ohio, two sons, Michael (Sherry) Hartman, of Butler, Indiana, Scott (and fiancee, Teea Vogelsong) Hartman, of Edgerton, Ohio, one daughter, Jacquelyn (Troy) Shutt, of Auburn, Indiana, four grandchildren, Zachary and Macey Shutt and Alyssa and Jessica Hartman. He is also survived by two brothers, Rex Lynn Hartman, of Kendallville, Indiana, and Loren Donald (Bobbi) Hartman, Jr. of Hamilton, Indiana, and four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation for Larry G. (The Breeze) Hartman will be from 5-7 p.m. (Ohio time) on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. (Ohio time). Military rites will be conducted by the Waterloo, Indiana, VFW Post #6572. Memorials may be given to Hospice Care of Williams and Fulton Counties.
