View Viedo Tribute Donald A. Foust, 80 years, of rural Hicksville, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at The Inn at Fountain Park, where he had resided the past three months. An Army veteran of WWII, Donald was a 1944 graduate of Farmer High School. He continued his education receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1951 and his Master’s Degree from Summit Theological Seminary. Don was the first preaching minister at the Defiance Church of Christ. He had ministries at the Columbia Church of Christ near Edon, Ohio, and St. Joe Church of Christ from 1952-1957. He also ministered at the Cedar Creek Church of Christ, Leo, Indiana, Beech Grove Church of Christ and the Aboite Church of Christ, but his longest ministry was the Farmer Church of Christ, Farmer, Ohio, where he ministered for 40 years, retiring in September 2006. He also worked as an assembler at the former DOTCO in Hicksville for 22 years. He was a member of the Farmer American Legion Post #137. He was a leader for the St. Jude Bike-a-Thon in Hicksville for several years. Donald Allen Foust was born on August 25, 1926, near Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Clair L. and Minnie H. (Scranton) Foust. He married Josephine M. “Jo” Beattie on December 28, 1946, at the Farmer Church of Christ, and she survives. Also surviving are his three sons, David (Carol) Foust, of Coldwater, Michigan, Daniel (Kathy) Foust ,of Findlay, Ohio, and Dewey (Teresa) Foust, of Williamsburg, Michigan, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. vHe was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucille Foust. Funeral services for Donald A. Foust will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2007, at the Hicksville Church of Christ, 118 North Main Street, with Ken Wellman, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Six Corners Cemetery with military grave side rites conducted by the Farmer American Legion Post #137. Visitation for Mr. Foust will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION ON SUNDAY, APRIL 8. Memorials in the name of Donald A.
