Imogene L. Lirot, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 1:25 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2008, at Jamison Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania, after a brief illness. Mrs. Lirot was a medical technologist for forty-five years, working at Cameron Hospital, Napoleon Hospital and Maumee Valley Hospital prior to her retirement. She was also a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan, Ohio. Imogene L. Lirot was born on January 20, 1927, in Kendallville, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur A. and Juanita (Tuttle) Smith. She married Roger J. Lirot on September 11, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2007. Mrs. Lirot is survived by a son, Roger J. (Patricia Carosi) Lirot II of Edinburg, Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Barbara Krehl, of Kendallville, Indiana, and Virginia (Bill) Percifield, of Franklin, Indiana. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lirot was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Services for Imogene L. Lirot will be on Friday, July, 18, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation for Mrs. Lirot will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. Memorials in the name of Imogene L. Lirot may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
